Frequently Asked Questions About Vegan and Vegetarian Meals in the Canteens
We want to offer you a varied and appealing selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. At the same time, we believe it is important to be transparent about how food is actually prepared in a large-scale kitchen.
To provide such a selection in an operationally and economically viable way, vegan, vegetarian and meat-based dishes are prepared in shared kitchen areas. Complete physical separation is therefore not possible.
Our aim: to provide honest information. We label our dishes according to their ingredients and also give you insights into how they are prepared, so that you can decide for yourself what is suitable for you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us in person, via the feedback boards in our canteens or by email at feedback@studierendenwerk.uni-siegen.de.
