Statement by the ARGE dated April 7, 2026

9. April 2026

At the Studierendenwerk Siegen, we are committed to ensuring that every student at the University of Siegen and in our facilities feels safe and welcome—regardless of their origin, religion, gender, or social background. We strive for an open, diverse, and non-discriminatory community, guided by the values of our Constitution.

Feedback from the student body consistently shows us how important these values are for a positive community. That is why we expressly support the current statement issued by the Association of Studierendenwerke in North Rhine-Westphalia (ARGE):

We are committed to ensuring that openness, diversity, and solidarity are not just empty words, but are tangible aspects of campus life every day.
